A Glasgow paper states that great preparations are being made in the western capital for the arrival of Sir William McGonagall, of the Order of the White Elephant of Burmah, to-morrow evening. A carriage is to be in waiting to drive him to his hotel where he will dress in his historic Highland costume. A number of scenic properties to give effect to his great impersonation of Richard III. have been prepared, and the bard is announced to give some new poetry of an exceptionally soul-harrowing brand.
