No I’m not claiming to be related to William McGonigall :o)…I did some research some years ago to see if I was…One fact that came up was that his mother was Margaret Maxwell from Maybole Ayrshire.
William himself said that his parents were from Ireland,not true..Charles and Margaret were born in Scotland.
LOL ..the person who certified the Death was J A Shortbread !!!!..I’ve never heard of THAT name before.
